Name 3 People that You Wish Would Get Flesh Eating Bacteria. (NO Political or National Leaders)?
Q. My (current) three: 1. Bono (if I could make all 3 Bono just to be sure, I would) 2. Diego Maradonna (but he's about history anyway) 3. Alan Dershowitz (I am on Noam Chomsky's team) AND Just answer the question that was asked: 1. Any President or VP or whoever, past or present, falls under the heading 'Political or National Leader' - so get over it and come up with somebody (ies) else. 2. Save the moral high ground malarkey. This is not a moral question. If you can t put morality aside, then don t answer. 3. Save the Backlash. Those who would (and will) wish it upon me for wishing it upon others - save the judge, jury, and executioner thing. It also makes you eligible, btw an eye for an eye for an eye, so to speak. 4. Put a… [cont.]

Who does the Supreme Court "belong to" ...?
Q. "Many liberals had been brought up to believe that whatever happened to the other branches of government, the Supreme Court belonged to 'us.' It was 'ours.' Nobody could take that away. We could count on the justices, perhaps not in every case, but certainly over the long run. They would set matters straight when it came down to it. "It was for this reason so many liberals of my generation became lawyers and so much faith was placed in litigation. The corollary is that even fewer became politicians, political organizers, and political fund-raisers. We eschewed the rough-and-tumble of dirty politics in favor of the neat and elite high road of the judiciary." A. While many do not agree with liberals today (look at the divide between the parties), liberals in the 40s, 50s, and 60s did a lot of good for the country. They ended segragation (in the face of fillibusters from republicans), created equal opportunity for minorities and women, and solidified the separation of church and state (if you dont agree with the last one, how would you feel if one single denomination controlled the country). Those who wish for the 'good ol days' forget the social strife that existed in the country back then - black/white segragation, women as the inferior sex, indians discriminated against, some pregnant women dying from back-alley abortions, etc... Not to mention (for some conservatives) that religion didnt have… [cont.]

Is prostitute popular in Europe?
Q. From usatoday.com Harvard University law professor Alan Dershowitz, says prostitution is "a victimless crime." "This is a uniquely American story. If this took place in Europe, it wouldn't even hit the papers" Did europe men prostitue regularly? jessie k you didn't read newspaper or website for political news happened in US today
Asked by TopGun - Tue Mar 11 03:34:10 2008 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments

A. While it is legal, or in some European countries accepted as a fact of life and not acted against, it is not accepted by most people as normal behavior. And while a big percentage of women becoming prostitutes do so out of free choice, too many women are forced into the profession. And those choosing the job often do so because they were already sexually abused so they have a low self esteem. I am not sure how the numbers are for men, but I am sure that not the majority of those do so because they are proud, most will not even admit ever having been a prostitute. So it is not right to call it victimless. The people working in the field are victims. It is not a crime, unless you force someone to work as prostitute.
